Enabling Grassroots Enterprise.  Building Fair Futures.
Sustaining Heritage.

Sarba Shanti Ayog enables marginalized artisanal communities and disadvantaged producer groups across India to build sustainable enterprises through Fair Trade principles, preserving cultural heritage while creating dignified, long-term livelihoods.

The Challenge We Solve

Talented artisans and small producers shouldn't have to choose between preserving their heritage and feeding their families.

Across India, small producers from craft and handloom communities, to food producers, forest-based enterprises, waste upcycling initiatives and a broad range of MSMEs are pushed into a difficult trade-off: move away in search of uncertain urban work, or remain where they are and earn low, inconsistent incomes through fragmented markets and undervalued labour.

At the same time, a growing segment of conscious consumers is seeking authentic, responsibly made products, but lacks direct access to the people and processes behind them.

This disconnect between skill, market, and value is where we work—enabling stronger linkages, fairer returns, and sustainable pathways for livelihoods.

How We're Different

Complete Ecosystems, Not Just Training

We provide end-to-end support—from skills and enterprise development to production systems and market readiness, to build viable enterprises. so artisans get everything needed for business success.

Producer-Owned, Not Charity-Dependent

We strengthen community-owned institutions—cooperatives and enterprises that producers own, govern, and grow themselves.

The focus is on building autonomy and long-term viability, not dependency.

Technology That Actually Works

Empowering artisans and small producers through accessible, eco-friendly, and affordable technologies that enhance skills, improve productivity, and build climate-resilient livelihoods.

Fair Trade Champions

As founding members of India’s Fair Trade movement, we ensure artisans receive fair wages, safe conditions, and long-term partnerships not just one-off sales.

Voices of Transformation

"For years, I only wove gamchas with basic designs. After SSA's training in saree weaving, I can proudly say I weave cotton sarees on my own. My income has improved, as well as my community's."

"After getting the rope-making machine, our work became much easier and faster. We can produce more in less time with better finishing. It has reduced physical strain, especially for women artisans like me."
